I think American Spirit is a guy/gal with a nice-sounding name who posts a lot and gets lots of replies. But then again, I have him/her on IGNORE because I did not enjoy his/her ARGUMENTATIVE contributions to the thread. Namaste! Jim

Since I have AS on ignore, I don't know what exactly he's been saying, but from the responses it's pretty obvious. So, is he a stringer for Kerry seeking the "truth on the ground" right here in river city? If so, this thread could feel pretty important right now, what with determining the direction of the Democratic party for 2008 and all. OTOH, maybe AS is just a guy sitting around in his underwear with nothing else to do, in which case this is his little circle jerk. He's taking way too much attention here. This place is alot better without him.
