It's pronounced mEEm.

I'll watch for more Christmas memes over the next couple of weeks
and will post them.

Btw, not everyone has answered the last meme,
so here's a link back to the original one.
Don't wait to be tagged. Just go ahead and post your answers if you haven't already.

Describe what you remember to be the best or most memorable Christmas/Chanukah gift you ever gave.

Well, let's see. I've made a lot of things for people. Don't know if I can exactly narrow it down to one thing or "the best".

* Painted a big farm sign with Holstein cattle on each side to hang out at the gate for my father-in-law one year. He loved it -- but someone ripped it off a few years later (I expect it was some teenagers out cruising around getting in trouble).

* Sewed and stuffed a bunch of little felt "fish" and "lures" and made a fishing pole that my neighbour's boy could use to pretend he was fishing. The lures had snaps on them and he and his sister took turns sitting behind the chesterfield snapping fish on the lures. I spoke to him at his wedding this summer (first time I'd seen him in years) and he still remembers the fish and said it was one of the coolest things he ever got.

* Painted up one of those concrete sculptures for my brother's girlfriend -- she liked crazy, funky stuff -- so I did Bart Simpson made to look like Frankenstein's monster (green skin, stitches and gashes, bloodshot eyes, etc...).
Also carved and painted marionettes of she and my brother many years ago. They used them to "fight" with each other. (o:

* Painted a portrait of my parents' two dogs together - it's still on the wall. My Dad really loved it, Mom still does (both dogs are now gone). Also carved a big flying Canada goose (full size) that hangs up at the top of the cathedral ceiling in their family room.

* Carved a West Coast style "wolf" dance mask for Mr. Croc one year. He likes it very much.

Actually, I'd better stop here. I realize that I've made a lot of stuff for people over the years and I have some STUFF to get to today. Gotta get back to work here!

Okay... Now it's YOUR turn Itsall!
