I get the feeling they don't even care about the $1 trillion plus cost nor the twin deficits anymore. Just foreclose, take the loss and recycle the property with another borrower and a whole new multiplier effect (new countertops, furniture, electronic toys to fill the house ect..). Keep the world economy humming, folks employed and spending, spreading US consumerism with excess liquidity is the game plan it seems. The Dollar and a foreign dumping of US long term bonds seem to be the big risk of disrupting the apple card IMHO..
