What are the demographics of current consumption -- who is buying and what are they buying? Not knowing that you can only respond with more of the same -- i.e. must be the money supply because nothing else matters. Understanding consumption would require far more knowledge than simplistic money supply assumptions.


As I just said, you don't know my full views. I am not a monetarist and NOT into "money supply" except as yet another sometimes useful indicator.
