I think you nailed it. History tells us anytime a government prints like mad and creates massive inflation the handful that are already rich get richer and 98 percent of society see their standard of living go down year after year. The amount of dollars that the fed is pumping into the system the last 5 months is unreal.

Just refuse to play their game. Buy physical gold and silver (with a plus on silver) and hold it. That's the best security I can think of. I have been buying since 2001 and it's beat the crap out of the DOW in returns.

Don't listen to these anti-gold people who can't see the big picture. You'll be glad you did in the middle of 2008.
