"We need a rising upswell revolt of middle America. We need a complete gutting of our campaign finance laws and a cleansing of Congress and the Senate."

Will NEVER happen.

Those in charge have made sure of it.
The top 5-10% have ALWAYS controlled every society in all of history...and they always will.
It is sadly the nature of humans.

Even on the rare occasion you get a leader that seems "pure of heart and motive", it is an illusion.
Naively assuming they were "good" in the first place, they will either be corrupted by force, or desire, within minutes of gaining any real control.
It's what humans do.

The very nature of those that strive for control makes them the least qualified....and the very nature of those best suited to be in charge makes them never seek the position.

It is a downward spiral.
...and Earth will be glad when we are gone.

Merry Christmas!
CB.

The last orator who showed up with charts and made sense was Perot. He had the money and he talked the talk. Then he made his deal with the parties that be for assurance that Bush wouldn't be re-elected and he bowed out (and destroyed his credibility.)

The parties that be are NOT the "top 5%" in anything except disregard for their fellow man and in running the rigged games, e.g., printing the money, writing history, etc.

The only solution is a designer drug that only affects politicians and their ilk. Give the politicians a permanent buzz and terminal munchies. That would be a news report worth watching.

"CSPAN is off the air today after 217 members of Con-gress exploded this morning while gorging themselves on chips and salsa... film at 6"

Great post once again.

Like I said....Ron Paul is the best man in politics to save the Republic, but he has publicly stated they will kill him if he goes too far.

Are you aware at all of the death(murder/assassination) of former CIA director Willaim Colby?? He was the CIA director who was summararily replaced by a politician named George Bush in 1975 in the wake of US Senate assassination hearings on JFK.

Colby was a great man and in later years had become very patriotic and outspoken about the direction subversive forces were taking our country.

Let's just say that we're up against some real brutal forces at work here.

.........."Save the Cheerleaders - Save the World"

re: The Fed & M3

...Ron, we'll focus on a common enemy and make
your post the subject of this Sunday night's Smackdown.

Good post.

You already possess the single most important ingredient
for righting the ship -- Passion!

It will take a ground-swell of passion + ACTION + a massive amount of money
to finance the action, and to deliver the message to the masses.

Bravo! Nice to see some THINKERS out there! It's time to stand up... it was time to stand up when doofus-boy was "re-elected" for the second term. I did. Didn't do much good though...just got a bunch of flack. But if enough people make enough noise, who knows.

Very interested to hear Slide's opine on it all...namely, is it too late?

Ron Merks re: The Common Enemy....

I've been talking about Goldman for some time now.

If a picture is worth a thousand words -- then,
this chart is worth 10,000.

During the Fed's recent broad market prop-job, Goldman
has exploded out ahead of gold, oil, natural gas and the
propped up Dow.

Goldman has outperformed gold, oil, natural gas and the
broad market for the last two years.

It also outperformed gold, oil and natural gas in the
initial rally off of the post Katrina/Rita liquidity
pump.

Here's a cold slap in the face - reality check for gold bugs:

3 Months:

6 Months:

1 Year:

2 Years:

Bugs need to pay better attention to
the golden rule.

"He who has the gold -- makes the rules."

And right now with their hooks deeply imbedded
in China and with their man in the Treasury...they
both have the gold and are making the rules.

Don't fight the Fed...or, those fed by the Fed.

And if you can't beat 'em -- ride 'em!

Merry Christmas gold bugs... this is a chart you
haven't seen and won't see -- anywhere else.

In a quaint little office down in Lyfords Cay,
they call it -- "THE" Chart.

It's the reason the September gold rally fizzled.

It's the reason all the permabulls on Kitco, 321Gold
and Gold-Eagle were all wrong.

It's the reason Mr. X's charts mattered - not.

It's my gift to all of you.

It and it alone -- will set you free.

If you can't make it on your own from here...

Don't blame me - blame Darwin.
