Draft movements almost never work. Obama knows a lot of excited fans want him to run, which is the only reason he'd even consider it this early in his career.

I've already discussed the cons for Obama, which he is very aware of, foremost the fact that if the DEms run a black man in 2008, they might make a very costly statement. But for VP, much less of a risk and just as much upside.
