There were a couple of math majors retired from industry here. They try to become teachers, the teachers Union wouldn't let them, unless they got a degree in education. These guys had PHDs in Math

Moose, we need to get their attention. It has to happen at the district level.

When I mention hanging one of them, it is symbolic of getting maximum attention and saying "We have had enough".

The reward system provides for failure not success. Where is the teacher that fails at the same time the award is given to the teacher that stands out.

Unless the teachers grade themselves honestly, we have to. The union is an outside force that functions politically. That is not acceptable.

Many, I agree whole heartedly, but the NEA would never allow it to happen. Those that came from professions would make the average teacher of today look like a moron.
