One of my fascinations is observing the phenotypical expression of DNA after the specimens have had a sufficient diet.

It's true that we're, on average, much fatter than our ancestors, but it's also true that we're taller, more muscular, and have healthier bones, teeth, and so forth.

The most interesting specimens are Japanese -- the grandchildren of the crop of 1945 Japanese war brides are tall and big, as big or bigger than the grandchildren of pure Anglos of the same generation.
