I have never seen anything like the rain today, it was like a firehose for about 40 minutes..the water coming of of the hillside above us turned our drive into a river. It flooded our garage and utility room with 4 feet of water in just a couple of minutes. There was so much pressure that water was shooting up out of man hole covers at least 20 feet. I've been battling it for the last 6 hours... what a mess could be worse, a neighbor drowned in her basement! mamma nature whacked us good.
