Part of that can't happen - my wife had her tubes tied. I was so against it but in the end it had to be her decision. I thought it was a mistake but its her body. Besides - I have better DNA than my ex did. If you want a good lookin kid - I'm the donor LOL!! Just being a smart ass - if I wasn't a smart ass I'd have no personality at all. I know everything will work out. I just have to have an opportunity to run the entire race with my son or future child. I can't take all the credit ( except for the brains and looks - those are all me <g> ) but I have the kid on pretty solid footing. I spent a TON of time with him and it just sucks to have that cut in half. There are a lot of lessons in life that a son can only get from a father. The son I have now is going to miss some of those lessons. I want to run the whole race with a child.

I have to tell you a funny/cool Nicholas moment.

A little background on him first

Nick LOVED football from age 2. This was the clear opening to take with teaching him. So we ran numbers based on the field size & scores and maps based on football teams...it was fun and kinda cool that it was working

so

We were at this black tie event up in Minneapolis. Nicholas and my family were there. Anyhow - we're standing outside where the mississippi river is in downtown Minneapolis. My dad said - hey Nicholas - if you fell in the river where would you come out? My sons answer was I'd end up next to the New Orleans Saints - but first I'd pass the St. Louis Rams. We laughed our asses off but he was right. The shocking part is that he wasn't quite 4 yet.
