Great point. Are they analyst? They do get paid. When I was 12 I would once every 6 or more months buy a Barrons for 50 cents after a half hour of debating if I should buy a Commercial & Financial Chronicle instead. I would keep the either for over a year and read and believe every word.

If I had not grown up on my own, mineweb would have accomplished the job, of inducing a more skeptical mind. <g>

?????? Hah! please educate me, you are saying that analysts are a major driving force behind the price of Au? Please excuse my denseness as I fail to grasp your point <g>.

I really could care less about individual analysts calls on the price of Au. I am quite happy with an undulating plateau for the price of Au as an environment to make money on Au stocks and I think the role of hedgies in the market makes it different than previous Au bull markets and for me this article is a good reminder of the potential of this phenom. In this respect I think the analyst has a useful point of view.
