I don't care about publicity. I just stated my opinions, and I put (I don't know how other interlocutors are trading, except for Russ) my money where my mouth is. I am currently short GES and HD. I will be shorting WCI, ACF and NEW in the first week of January/07 when the year end BS of painting the tape is over. Winning by making money is more rewarding (pun intended) then prevailing in theoretical debates. The latter is just a waste of energy.

How about you? State your trading position and lets compare notes in 6 months.

I didn't say you wanted publicity. You've been challenging folk, including me, on your opinion. I figured if you felt that strongly about it, you'd want to get your opinion more widely spread -- nothing more complex than that.

I trade my various public and private charts, mostly in the futures markets, and have an average trade length of 2 weeks or so, although multi month trades aren't unknown. I seldom day trade or buy/sell stocks and have never bought any options. Right now I'm short gold and long the S&P and neither are heavy positions.

I agree with both your theory on 'making money' and looking to implement many of your same picks at year end. Watching what the big boys do with the likes of GS, C, JPM and BAC most crucial IMHO.. One more shot at puts on a decline before I devote most of my time, capital and energy back to distressed real estate in 2007.. For now holding tight with long non credit/housing bubble picks to year end.
