That's pretty basic. You didn't know that?

If you want an example of a printing press. Look at SIRI on nasdaq. They have 1.41B shares outstanding and still have 1B in debt. And the number of shares sure wasn't from stock splits. They choose to go the printing press route instead of bonds and massive debt. Not at all surprising since the Chairman of the Board and previous CEO, came from Global Crossing / Asia Global crossing where shareholders lost everything when they went chapter 11 giving the company to debt holders.
