it's/its endemic on SI. LOL..one of my first PMs here was from someone correcting my error on this one..I browsed thru my old posts and coulda started a thread! I must confess that I didn't respect spelling or sentence structure when I first started on these boards(as long as I got my point across, I thought my post was fine)..perhaps YMB being a lousy first teacher..but also, because they're not on paper, somehow my mind trivialized it..I had a hard time justifying spending that kind of time...and I had no idea these are kept for perpetuity!!! I also find that the faster I type, the more phonetic my brain wants to be..their or there misuse is more a matter of brain being efficient in telling fingers what to input rather than brain not knowing the usage rule..I've noticed it with a few other words that I can't remember right now..
