That was a good post about this thread koan. But your spelling was perfect which indicated you were somehow off in some weird space.lol(sober?) A lot of great posters here that contribute excellent information and more importantly great insight.Big thanks to everyone.Anybody who quietly put a portfolio together based on the top consensus choices of this group will be having a very merry xmas.

Now koan about that ostrich race in China.Bet is on.Do we have to ride them sober?

half his trades are for beer money and his posts are unintelligible-lol.

You should have met a character on the original gold and silver thread circa 1999-2000, Doug A.K. The only things one could discern from Doug A.K.'s incoherent ramblings was his support of GATA and that he was loaded to the gills with Tyhee, at that time in the pennies. If he kept all his Tyhee, he is probably at least a million dollars richer now that Tyhee has gone from a few pennies to a few dollars. Any of the old-timers here (Wayne, Tom, et al) know where Doug went?

By the way, for any newbies or lurkers who don't know, don't believe Koan's tongue in cheek comment quoted above. Marcos made me a lot of money with his posts on National Gold (now Alamos) back when ... he is one to pay close attention to.

A 'foot in both camps', yeah well sometimes stuck between with the pickup broke down in the boonies, lol ... lbe.v was LC's original call, far as i know [those metal-specific lists of his are real useful], and bmc.v i first heard about from Red, started out with beer money there and soon hit the harder stuff, now i'm stuck immobile with the memphis blues again

alz.v/wr.v/su.to - these [and one other?] are the only stocks i hold that i heard about originally from outside SI ... a tight little world we have here, if you wanted to see it negatively you could call it incestuous ... but it works pretty well eh ... you get some good calls yourself, rdv.to being the most recent, bwr.wt before that, both i'll be holding till they feel ripe, don't think that'll be soon, so hey there's 'investment' for ya, lol
