I used to have mirrors

My wife took 'em

Just kidding - thats my answer to everything

I was shaving yesterday and my son just had to join me with his plastic set. Shaving cream was all over and it was a riot to see him slap on cologne afterwards. He smelled like a French hooker! He's started to call me "daddy cool" which goes along with my nephew who calls me "Uncle Gnarly." Damn I love little boys (but not in the Catholic sense LOL). I just know we can win the Pop Warner bowl next year. I keep telling them pain is mind over matter - If you don't mind - it don't matter. Thats a Brett Favre line and I love it. Tomorrow is Sunday football and I'll probably have 6-8 boys over. My Pizza expense is out of this world during football season. Many of the little boys parents can't afford the gear for pop warner so I've hit up my business buddies to fork over some dough in what I call "The socks for Jocks" fund. I have to play the role of dad for many of these kids and I love it! Last night one of the little bastards kicked the ball through my back window LOL!! It was a great kick! He was all worried I'd be mad but I seem to recall doing that a time of 10 so I calmed him down and said it was cool. I'm waiting for the window man now so it should be fixed by noon. I love watching them line up wearing black cleats! It's old school football which means next year I turn in my cleats for a suit during the game. I've loved seeing the Jack Del Rio with a suit on - the way coaches dressed when I was a little boy. Next year my kids will be old enough so I can be myself on the sidelines. I'm John Madden minus the language. The parents love it because they see how the kids respond to me and they LOVE how tired I make them during practice. It will be just a blast to tape them up and put black wax (my term) below their eyes. They feel so cool looking like a pro. The only thing that sucks is that I do the laundry for them. I'm going to see if one of the mothers will do that for me. I'll get back some of my studs from years past who can run like a deer and catch really well. I have a flanker that is truly a man among boys. We also have punt, pass and kick next year and one of my kids is going to win it. I hope its my son because he wants to follow in "daddy cools" footsteps. All of this is 9 months away and I'm so fired up I can hardly wait.
