Bayh has dropped out. He had 10 million bucks and is a handsome white centrist from a red state who might have had a chance. But he's gone. This leaves only two candidates with a lot of money; Kery and Hillary, though Gore and Obama could raise money fast.

This immediately helps the other centrist-progressive white guys; Edwards, Kerry, Biden and Clark, plus Gore if he wants to run. Vilsack looks DOA with only 9% support in Iowa his own state. Edwards and Clark are still in debt from 2004 and that diminishes their chances. Plus both are not fully dimensional candidates.

We remain in suspense to see if Gore, Hillary and Obama run.
I sense Hillary dropping like a stone. But I could be wrong.

He's a US Senator, of course he has power.
