The original point I started with is Obama being a good example of what can be achieved in America if you don't get stuck in the drug culture of your youth.

His is an impressive story-------a story that many Americans can relate to as the majority of Americans came from humble beginnings and have acheived at whatever level they could.

He should talk openly about that period of time and how he got on with his life from the drug days---which would seem to be in the late 1970's and 1980's at the very time that Reagan was elected and Nancy had her "Just Say No" campaign.

Telling his story not in his book but in a public forum would no doubt enhance his standing with voters--------showing his humaness and dedication to being who he is today.

Both of our great orators JFK and Reagan inspired with their words and ideas. Obama can inspire with words and by telling his story.

Had not thought about the "glass ceiling" aspect----you do have a point there.

There is another point I want to mention but will do another note.
