I don't know the extent to which he was into the drugs as a teanager--------he mentioned this himself. I truly know many people who did not survive the drugs of the 1970's and 1980's-----they never became sucesses and certainly not on the level that Obama has achieved and is aspiring to. My point is how did he get out of using whatever he used during that time and move on to being a vital contributing member of society. IMO how he did this is a story he needs to tell and be a good example on what can be achieved. Perhaps it doesn't matter to voters. mj
