"Perhaps only Paulson can save China."

As a student of denial, I'm in slack-jawed awe at your comments.

Would you please take a gander at this blog: wallstreetexaminer.com

and this data: epi.org

and share your response, especially in regards to how Mr. P might save the US?

Thanks.

Mary, to your three points, a guess ...

(i) to Wu Yi and her backers, the gap is closing, that is important; and when it will be closed, less so, since the process is so enjoyable, and must, in all cases, be navigated

(ii) USA can buy underwear from India, and will no doubt try, but that is merely another part of the process. The misconception in USA is that somehow China's once in 600 years reform and transformation is (a) made possible by USA, (b) controlled by USA, and (c) will fail without the USA support

But then of course, the USA J6P holds many misconceptions, about all sorts of events, issues, and happenings.

(iii) Paulson can no more save China than Wu Yi can save USA

There is an old Chinese saying, in translation, "The more ignorant, the bolder."
