Republican corporate welfare and corruption: bring back SDI! Dubya has been trying to do this for years, he wants to militarize space and put nuclear weapons up there.

Yep, the gang who can't defeat a ragtag group of insurgents and militia in a third world country less than 1/10th our size in longer than it took us to win WWII really should be trusted with militarizing space.

Newt, the grotesque, Gingrich was on Russert this morning. Yet another Republican apologist. His basic arguments:

- Yes I was for the war (because Russert had a clip) but I really wouldn't have been for the war if I knew it would be this disasterous and would have to defend my stance of being for this war.

- Yes the Bush administration has done a terrible job but it really isn't Bush's or the Bush administration's fault. I think it was the gremlins or maybe the trolls or maybe the woodland fairies who are at fault.

Republicans: always lying, always incompetent, always corrupt.
