"Limousine liberal" is a stupid meaningless term. Let's dissect what it really means to the rightwingers who made it up. It means that these co-called "liberals" (defined as anyone who's not rightwing, especially anyone from Hollywood) are rich, travel in limos or jets, don't always save energy, don't live like hippies in tents. Therefore, they are "hypocrites". But the whole point of your stud thread heading here is that supposedly Hollywood does support Bush. So dfo you admit you're lying? Next, if you're a celebrity you have security problems bicycling around. Though Ed Begley does just that. He never uses a car. He bicycles to the studios for meetiongs. And I don't think he ever uses a limo. Gore and Kerry drive hybrids I know, but most of the time any entourage needs a large vehicle and there are no large jybrid SUV's yet. You'll see about 20% new car hybrid drivers in west LA now, and growing. So gradually the rich Brentwood types are using less fuel, though I would say only about half of them are "liberals". And the word "liberal" is really out-dated anyway. So far we haven't invented solar-powered jets. That's a problem. How do you get to New York, drive? Yes, we neeed clean fueled jets by all means. So let's start inventing them. We use hydrogen in our rockets so why not our planes?> And we can make it clean with solar and wind power in the great American desert. In Hollywood limosines are usually only used for official awards ceremonies, or the like. Provided by the studios. I don't know any stars who own their own limos. It's also highly unlikely an envirnomentalist star would ever own a limo. Meanwhile rightwing CEO types use jets and limosines as a matter of course. In fact Bush used Enron's private jets for many months and didn't pay a dime before the FEC caught him.

Speaking of hypocrites, Bushies are not enlisting for Iraq. They talk tough but are actually all cowards. Where are all the Bush supporters who should be enlisting or sending their sons to Iraq to defend their own wild-eyed neocon strategy? The only leaders in DC I hear about who let their sons go to Iraq are democrats. This needs to end. If you're going to be pro-war, then be willing to risk your life right away. Don't let someone else die in your place. That's not the American Way. You yourself should go enlist. They raised the age to 42 and even if you're older you could lie about your age and they'd probably take you. Recruiters will take almost anyone now. But the people who shuold be enlisting are Bush supporters, en masse. Strange isn't it how aggressive talking Bushies rarely if ever put themselves in harm's way except to go hunting with Cheney.
