Just saw the Hussman article you posted over on the other gold thread.

That article is from 1999, but it took me a while to realize it. The 4 conditions he talked about seem to be met again today, as well as recent gold price weakness.

I took a long look at the long term gold chart this weekend, and it appears that gold is having impulse phases and then consolidation phases which last 9-12 months.

So... taken from the May peak, sometime between February and May 2007, off we go again.

Probably coincide with a credit "event".

A Horse; Gold still looks to have good support here, while the USD still has a major IH & S resistance to fight against.
