A black man cannot win the White House yet in the USA. Extremely unlikely. I don't care if he's more charismatic than Clinton and Reagan put together.

That's why Powell didn't run and why Obama should be very patient. However, this could gradually change in the next 10-15 years. Now we have major black leaders winning in Massachusetts and Illinois. But remember, those are two of the most blue states, and Illinois has a large black voting block. When I see Ohio or Missouri electing black senators and governors then you'll know things have changed. Until then, be careful.

The same goes for woman as we are still, in large part, a patriarchal society. Unlike many other western countries.
