His age and track record is a bigger obstacle than his race. Not that it is impossible, nobody had a thinner and less attractive track record than Smirk, but that is pretty rare. Will likely be very rare for a while. I suspect that foreign policy credentials are going to be real important for several cycles. Clinton didn't have great foreign policy credentials and yet he was a champ in that arena. I sense that Obama will be too.
