I actually have 20-15 vision so I'm lucky. What was odd is a couple weeks ago I was using the patch AND chewing nicorette. I couldn't figure out why I was hot and my eyes dialated - they looked like frying pans. I got home and called my doc and he told me I had nicotine poisoning LOL!! I looked like I was on mushrooms. In my youth (21) we went to Jamaica and they told us if we go to grandma's that it was safe to have either a brownie or the mushroom tea. Thats all they had to say - I did both. My eyes were dialated so that I had no color - just black. I never did mushrooms after that! It was a commanding buzz that didn't go away for about 12 hours. I'd look at the textured ceiling and it was if the workers had geometrically designed the texture. It was wild - but I'll never do that again.
