"my remarks about the love and mercy of God were clearly made in the context of the foregoing of judgment, (NOT THE APPLICATION OF IT!)"

You can't even squirm decently. What a load of crap! God was being loving and merciful by NOT condemning the genocide and rapes cited in the passage? What a dolt!

"My work is done here for now"

Can I offer you some deodorant?!

"I might see you the other side of new year or I might not"

Thanks for dropping by, greg or e. You are the best answer to the question put by this thread! ;-)

Now, greg or e--you were trying to make the case that God is loving and merciful. Whether you return to your original tact of claiming his love and mercy is showcased by rape and genocide, or whether you prefer your latest twist (that He has a right to judge--and that His mercy and love is demonstrated by his abdication of that right, and by his tacit approval of atrocities)--you have made neither case. You have squirmed around like a worm--confabulating and making loathsome noises.

"I will not be dragged into a slime hole"

Oh, c'mon now, greg or e. Enough of that kind of talk. Be a good fella, now. Remember that the holidays are about giving, not about anger.

I give you my hope for a joyous time with family and friends. May your faults be forgiven.
