When they say, in panel two, that the Democrats make sure we are always safe, the enemy displayed is a Republican (by way of the elephant). Yet, the government's role is to protect from enemies foreign and domestic. To cast Republicans as enemies of the State in children's minds (even by subtle implication) instead of Islamo-Fascists, for example, or serial rapists is unconscionable. It exhibits a deep seated hatred from the party of the compassionate.
