Thanks Bill and everyone....Our power came back last night about 11....not to everyone in our area, but I think most. Still about 150,000-200,000 without power in our area....many of those in city areas, not just in rural areas. The five full days of no power really brought it home just how much we rely on POWER. Not only gas for the car, but in every other area.

And now the CO2 deaths also bring to mind just how important it is to have EVERYONE in this country learn ENGLISH! 4 of the deaths were a Vietnamese family, who evidently hadn't read the directions ....

Am at the library again now, on the way home...didn't want to get sidetracked on my computer at home, because there is LOTS of work to do before I came "play" more...Lots of gift wrapping to be done, and packages to be sent, even if they will arrive late...cleaning everything in the house from all the candle and fireplace residue...laundry, floors, etc etc.

First time in a very long time, that I'm not going to complain about doing all of that. Even making cookies and the attendant mess sounds like fun.

That's today.
Tomorrow will maybe be different....<smiles everyone>
