<<This GIT spent much of day at eye appointment (yearly). What she and Dearest One thought was that I had the first appointment. As they are a year apart and appointments are made when one leaves, we had not been informed that he had changed the way his appointments were scheduled later that year. We were in a line of people scheduled for about the same time. Sigh...>>

A few years ago I had an eye appointment at a clinic for 1 o'clock. Had the drops put in and was seated in a room with 50 people. People got called and called until 2 o'clock. 20 people still waiting at 2:30 and I asked about their appointments. All for the same doctor and all for 1 o'clock. I asked at the desk and the SOB wasn't even in the building. I left. They had a sign that they charge for missed appointments and I told them if they charged me I'd sue them for a missed appointment.
