I doubt sending in more troops is going to buy us much more than a 3 month pop before more resistance build up. They should listen to the generals on the ground and pour significant cash into the iraqi military and police force. That is probably the best we can do. I doubt it would help much in the long run but it would give us a way to give the Iraqis one more chance to secure there own future.

One thing people don't understand or don't want to understand is that a good portion of the insurgency is already apart of the iraqi government, military and police force.
