Maybe following this Iraq disaster, with some leadership, the Defense budget COULD be cut. I really don't think that the majority of Americans are even aware that we spend what the entire rest of the world does combined on defense. When we live in one of the safest countries on earth, with friendly neighbors and vast oceans protecting us. We'll always be vulnerable to terrorist attack, but we don't need a massive military to defend against that. I don't see any invasions in our future.
