I agree with you. Immigration has always been this one country's savior when it comes to the aging population. But with the Baby Boomers, since they are such a big bubble in the population trends, we will have to really open the spigots with immigration. Judging from the backlash of Mexican immigrants, I think we are becoming more isolationist and anti-immigrant. That will have very big consequences in this country's ability to support the Medicare and Social Security debts in the future.
