When my house was built a short and long wall in the kitchen had 4 outlets, all on 14 ga wire and a 15 amp breaker. I had it rewired today, added 2 dedicated circuits with 12 ga wire and 20 amp breakers while leaving the old in place. Wife can't stand the looks even though the dedicated circuits are behind the nuker and the convection oven. Can't get the idea through to her we now have 55 amp service to the kitchen instead of 15 amp service. Can now use the nuker, convection oven, toaster and electric skillet at the same time instead of one at a time.
