Turn the 'Sunni areas' (which mostly are desert, except for the capital and river areas, and no one wants because there is no oil), and also turn the roughly 1/2 of the country that is populated by the majority Shiite population all 'over to the Kurds'?????????

(And it's because everyone *really cares* what we say about land ownership in the region! :-)
