Third World nations such as India and China have had their experience with religious and sectarian rife 50 years ago. These nations realized that it would get them nowhere and they changed. Today, they are considered the most progressive nations as evidenced by their booming prosperity.

The US on the other hand is sliding backwards into areas such as election fraud, religious rife etc. etc.

We dont hear much about unrest in China, but you certainly have a warped view of India. There is still ethnic/religious conflict in a variety of states throughout the country. Hopefully, growing prosperity will help aleviate some of the problems but that is a very long process that is just getting started.

Any comparison between US and India in terms of either corruption or ethnic divisions is way over the top.....

China and India are the most dynamic countries around but far from the most progressive in many, many ways. Their problems with fraud and internal conflict make the US look like a preschool in many ways.

>>booming prosperity<<

The majority of Chinese and the vast majority of Indians still live in abject poverty.

>>religious and sectarian strife<<

In India hundreds have been killed in religious riots in the last few years.
