How do you know libia gave up all its equipment? Some crap was put on a ship and sent out way. Big deal, Nothing they had could not be obtained again. That crap isn't hard to come by. And wasn't it like 3 months after libia instantly transformed itself into a democracy and an ally in the war on terror that they were linked to trying to assisinate the president of Egypt?

I would rather us not be in Iraq. I don't remember every saying I trusted any of those bastards over there.

There are militant religious factions attempting to thwart attempts at forming a secular and democratic government in Iraq??? The people doing that are the government in Iraq.

UN troops could make a big diffeence in Darfur in a month. Who says you have to use peace keepers. That kind of force is of no use until the end game. In darfur, and other trouble stops, the best way to get someones attention is to speak a language they understand. Take the troops out, take the infrastructure of the civilian population out whose troops are guilty of the atrocities. Do to them what the allies did to the germans and the japanese in WWII. People understand that kind of lauguage and they tend to abide by it for a long long time.
