Here are more customer reviews on Olevia TVs;

Seems they are all raving about the picture quality -- even better than more expensive brands. And check out the prices. I can't imagine that people looking not only for a FIRST, but also SECOND HDTV would not be attracted to this brand.

This review was interesting regarding upgrading the TV by downloading updates through the internet:

How can you beat it?

I purchased this TV as a Black Friday special. It's got a GREAT picture for a $500 32' LCD TV. My friends are all impressed and I tell them it was $200 more than I paid. )

I love the fact that you can upgrade the firmware (internal software) on the TVthrough the internet so you can keep the TV up to date even with their newer models.

I would suggest getting the 3 or 5 year service plan since this brand isn't known yet really so there's no telling what will happen 2 or 3 years down the road, but withthe service plan you might end up with a compareable new TV at that time if this one fails so it's worth it.

Overall I can't imagine paying 3 or 4 times as much for a name brand TV since this one's picture and features are in line with theirs for a fraction of the price.
