And this has to sink in the minds of the players:

The actions have happened. What we're seeing (Thailand for instance)are the reactions of what has already happened.

You can see clear -judging by Thailand's reaction- that they were not prepared for the onslaught.

Taksin would have done better. The money Taksin was making, which could be said of by abusing his psotion as PM was a little price to pay for his skills in managing the country. He was a necessary evil.
