How about them? They don't steel there money, they get their money because of the demand for what they provide. Why should you get to cap their salary?

NFL has a cap on salaries and it seems to work out just fine.

The NFL has a salary cap on the team (not individual salaries except that obviously one person can't have a higher salary then the team) that resulted from bargaining between the owners and the players union. There is a big difference between collective bargaining, and a government imposed salary ceiling, both in terms of freedom and justice, and in terms of practical effect.


Tell the Amer/Nat. leagues......get into collective bargaining and cap your salaries like the NFL did, or the gov't will step in.

or are you going to force price controls in addition to wage controls?

Sure. Why not?

Because wage and price controls are both practically and morally wrong. In general they are a very stupid idea.
