I never go anyplace anymore that I haven't been to before. Getting lost for me is difficult. Although, I had to go to the far south side of Denver a couple weeks ago. It was like I was in a strange land, it was so different from what I remembered just a year or so earlier. Things change and change fast.

However, ManyMoose had an interesting comment about not wanting one because he wants to keep the spatial relations part of his brain limber. That's a valid point.

That may be valid, but can't one turn it off if one doesn't want to use it?

My neighbor says she has always been one to get lost and her daughter is like unto her. Something like this would be great for her.

Now it might be worth it in a very crowded city at going home time at higher speeds - IF it would say something such as,

"Watch out, the car next to you is on the cell phone"

"Watch out the person in the red pickup is drinking a beer and arguing with his blondie!"

"Wake up, you're getting sleepy!"

or the best one...

"Cop has you in his sights - go with flow"
