I can't recall flying into any city at night. I would never deliberately plan a trip like that. But, I can see that being a problem. I have flown into strange cities, in daylight, and can navigate successfully in just a matter of minutes. With modern freeways now, it's hard to do them wrong.

In a grid street layout, I NEVER get lost. It's only when the streets take off into culdesacs and blind leads that I have trouble. Even then, if I were on foot, I could get where I am going.

You'd really enjoy driving in Boston.
