The bears are on the ropes right now. It's hard to say what will give them reprieve.

"But in the second quarter, gross profit margins were relatively flat compared with a year earlier. Costs rose to 32 percent of revenues compared to 30.4 percent in the year-ago period."

So why is Nike down $ 1.08 in after hours trading despite posting very solid (boosted artificially by a tax refund form Dutch Government) earnings. Who is on the ropes?
