I suggest you put your views in the context of James Lovelock's book, The Revenge of Gaia - Earth's Climate Crisis & the Fate of Humanity.

That would only make sense if your strongly agreed with the conclusions of the book.

You will get no argument from me on your entire post. Global warming is a much larger issue than terrorism. I don't think many people really understand earth's 4 plus billion year old history.

Most don't know there have been many periods of extinctions. At certain periods most of the earth has been covered in ice and other times it has heated up to where nothing lived other than deep in the oceans. I pay a lot of attention to the environment. Heck, im living in Wisconsin, its mid december and when i walk outside during the day im swatting at flies and misquitoes. I bet we see some places on earth hit temperatures well over 130 degrees within the next ten years. I don't think people understand what environmental degredation today can lead to. People are so complacent they don't understand that it is no phenomenon for the earth to get locked into patterns where the temps are just to hot to sustain life. Not to mention how once it gets going, it escalates, which I personally think we are just beginning to see now.
