It isn't normal because neither the costs nor the benefits can be quantified objectively to the point that you can make such an analysis.

You admit the consequences of global warming could be pretty significant but then you think the cost to prevent it [reordering the economy] don't justify it. Its such ridiculous logic its hard to know how to respond.

The logic is normal cost benefit logic.

But this is not "normal cost benefit logic". We're talking about the fate of the world and human civilization.
