Muslim countries in the Middle East are not our friends. That is a myth and lie perpetrated by this administration and the oil companies that put Bush in power. The best thing we could do is cut all ties to the Middle East, cut all funding of the crazies over there, get off the oil so we stop funding all of their excesses and lunacy, and get our troops the hell out of there. The only good Middle East is an impoverished one that is impotent to spread their poison throughout the world. And we have the power to make that happen, if we only had the political will. To think we can come in and solve problems that have been raging for 2,000+ years over there is hubris. I used to be in that camp, but I'm now a believer that America can't solve those problems. Let's just stay out and let them kill each other if that's what they want to do. That's a much better alternative than them coming over here and killing us and they will most certainly do that the longer we are over there messing in their business. They want us out. So let's get out and stay out.
