I think you are working too hard to make your point. Debt is always a negative.

This is just wrong. I use my credit card every month, and pay it off at the end of the month. Every month I incur debt which I am able to pay off before it begins to accrue interest. There is nothing "bad" about this.

Even if I didn't pay it off every month the story is the same. If I don't have the cash now to buy a car or a home, but I have the cash flows to service a car or home loan, I'll get one, but a car or a home, and there is nothing bad about that.

You don't start paying off the principal until the 16th year.

That isn't true. You pay some of the principle off in your first payment, or at least by your 2nd. Perhaps the portion of the payment going towards principle doesn't exceed the portion going to interest until the 16th year, but the principle owed goes down from the beginning.
