Hey, with all these posts, the Z thread might become on of the most active on SI on a percentage basis. GGGG Its good to hear from some folks. Anyone else out there still has this page bookmarked? Dan, Ron, Sue, etc. I'll refrain from commenting on the present leadership of our great country. Though I recall the comment by another former Texas governor. Anne Richards. When asked about women's rights and equality, she remarked that Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did, only SHE did it backwards and in high heels!! Best wishes to all. BB ... I would be strongly in favor of taking the rabid right section of the Reps and the whimpy/whining lefty screamers of the Dems and making it a jailable offense for them to run for office of ANY KIND ... local all the way up to national.... In my erstwhile opinion we have waaaaaaaaay too many political correctness worry warts on both sides of the aisle. The ACLU, Move on dot org, Black Panthers and even PETA come to mind as personna non grata on the left and the frothing Falwells/Richardsons, Tom Delay and his cronies, the crooked CEOs who stole rampantly are some from the right that can be ignored as far as I'm concerned. I am really dreading the upcoming pres election in '08 .... damned if I EVER thought I'd vote for another Clinton, but picking from Obama, McCain, Rudy, and Romney and Hillary ..... I'm gonna have a Hillary sign in my front yard ...... LOL
