I hate to break it to you jeftuxedo, but straight males don't really care about the latest fashions.

Apple is a fashion company. They know who they are marketing to. Their advertising for ipods look like jewelry ads. Straight men could care less about jewelry, unless they have to buy it for a woman.

If you want to deny reality, that's your own choice. Use the term metrosexual if you prefer.
